Carhenge in Alliance, Nebraska
Built in the summer of 1987 by Jim Reinders, Carhenge is a famed replica of England’s Stonhenge set in the western Nebraska city of Alliance.
Carhenge encompasses 38 vintage American vehicles to construct the replica, coming in at 95 feet in diameter.
A free attraction, Carhenge is always open to the public, although offering concessions and refreshments from Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Other car sculptures are found on the grounds of Carhenge, making it a great stop for your Nebraska road trip.
